All events and fixtures will be listed on the relevent Facebook groups. They are also listed on our Google Calendar with all other events.

University Sport

If you fancy playing sport for the Uni, you might want to visit the UoB Sport website.

The perfect mix between social and competitive sport...

We enter loads of successful teams into the University's intramural sport leagues, each with an experienced captain who played last year.

The sport section is organised by our two sport secretaries,
Hannah Parvin & Jess Yorke.

Fixtures are mainly on sundays when teams all meet before the match and any travel expenses are paid for by orbital.
Monthly sports social will be organised with our sponsor MBargos who offer us great deals on nights out and drinks.

If you are interested in Orbital Sport, we are running a free Sports Day in Freshers Week where you can try out sports and take part in a variety of games with Captains, Reps and other Freshers.

The Orbital Football team won the end of season intramural tournament last year.
This year's captain is Barry Cooper.

The Rugby team has high aspirations and considers themselves the most 'social' Orbital team.

Mixed Hockey is very social so come along whatever your skill level. Have fun and hopefully win a few along the way!

The Badminton team is very successful and competes numerous times each year.

The Basketball team is a new and very exciting team for Orbital! Their aim is to win intramural whilst giving everyone a chance to play.
